If you are unable to attend one of our popular open events or would prefer a more personalised view of the school, we also offer personal tours.
Face to face visits to the school are available with our Admissions Registrar, where you can enjoy a guided tour of our extensive facilities.
Open days are the best way to experience life within Huddersfield Grammar. Meet the teachers, watch the students in action and ask the questions that will help you feel confident that your child will fulfil their potential with us.

Taster days allow children to experience a typical day at Huddersfield Grammar School along with all the excellent learning opportunities available to our pupils in all school stages.

We are delighted to announce our Summer Fayre is returning on Saturday 29th June 2024. From a Helter Skelter, Hungry Hippos Inflatable, Mini Golf, a Circus Workshop, Fairground Games, DJ, Art Gallery, HGS Bake Off Final, Stalls, and BBQ, there is lots happening!
The event will run from 12pm – 3pm and is free. It is a great way of seeing HGS' community spirit and meet other parents. We would love to see you there.
