Huddersfield Grammar School is a wonderful place in which to spend your childhood. It is set in beautiful woodland surroundings and a warm, kind and purposeful feel permeates the whole community.

In recent years, the school has undertaken £5.25m worth of investment into new school facilities, resulting in a fresh learning environment with beautiful outdoor spaces.

Huddersfield Grammar School is nestled within a beautiful woodland setting, just a stones throw away from the centre of Huddersfield.

The main house is a beautiful, listed building that dates back to the 19th century, offering an environment where pupils can feel truly inspired. Throughout the site a further 9 buildings complete the school, with dedicated learning spaces to suit each educational phase.

On-site woodland area for Forest School and outdoor learning.
Specialist classrooms such as an art studio, food technology kitchen and science labs.
For Performing Arts, the school boosts a specialist music room with access to a variety of instruments and professional recording equipment, four practice rooms, a drama studio, a performance space and public speaking facility.
Sports facilities include an indoor Sports Hall, outdoor Astroturf and sports pitch.
Surrounded by lots of trees and nature, perfect for outdoor learning and social times.
